Open the app, point your camera at yourself from the side (about 2 meters back, full body in frame), and tap Start. Wall Ball Champ will track your squat depth and rep count in real time. Tap the gear icon to adjust ball weight, weekly goals, and skeleton overlay settings.
Why isn't a rep counting?
Wall Ball Champ checks three things: squat depth (hips below knees), that your hands come together as
if holding a ball, and that you extend upward as if throwing. If a rep doesn't count, the on-screen
message will tell you which of these it didn't detect.
Does the app work without a wall ball?
Yes — the depth and rep-counting logic works for bodyweight squats too, though the ball-hold and throw
detection is tuned for wall ball form specifically.
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays on your iPhone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The camera feels laggy or the app is slow.
Try closing other apps running in the background, and make sure you're in a well-lit space — pose
detection accuracy (and speed) drops in very low light.
